ISO AND QUALITY ASSURANCE
We challenged the ISO9001 according to our president's suggestion that, "we had better review our quality system in order to reconstruct a new one applicable to the ISO9000 series", a series which is internationally acknowledged as a standardization of quality assurance.

On April 22, 1996, we successfully obtained the ISO9001 certificate.
We are proud that this is the first certificate of ISO9001 to be awarded in Japan in the section of "textiles and fiber goods".
Our Quality Policy:
The basic policy of Nippon Felt is "customers are our top priority". Not only do we constantly work on various aspects of R&D, engineering developments, and production improvement to meet customers requests, but we also stress importance on punctual deliveries as well.

Taiwan Felt Co., Ltd., our joint venture company in Taiwan, has obtained this ISO9001 certificate as well.

A Commitment to the Preservation of the Environment
Nippon Felt made an internal policy called "The Policy of Nippon Felt for the Preservation of the Environment" to construct Environmental Management Systems based on ISO 14001. We are continuously striving to find better solutions for environmental problems which are possibly caused by the activities of our company.
